Vario heavy splitting axe
Vario heavy splitting axe
The Vario Heavy Splitting Axe is a high-quality and reliable tool with a well-designed attachment system that allows for easy handle and blade changes. The slight curve of the ergonomic 90cm hickory handle transfers power particularly well, resulting in less tiring work.
The increasing angle of the spread 2300g blade achieves an incredibly good splitting effect.
The heavy splitting axe is a forged splitting tool with extremely high impact force, built for the most demanding tasks. The steel handle protector increases the lifespan of the sturdy handle.

Helko Werk – Vario Line
The Vario is a Helko Werk design featuring a German-developed fastening system that offers exceptional versatility and efficiency. All Vario axe heads, handles, and fasteners are fully interchangeable and compatible. The heads are mounted with screws that pass through the handle and are secured with a backplate. A steel handle guard protects the front of the connection and provides additional protection for the handle from the front and sides. The hex screws are designed for use with a standard Allen key, which is included with every axe. The product line includes five different heads and three handle lengths, allowing you to assemble the right tool for virtually any application – by individually combining the components, you can create the ideal axe for any task.
HELKO Factory - Tradition meets Innovation
