Helko Werk's Nordic Splitter with classic Scandinavian head shape and straight 80cm hickory handle has been specially developed for all types of splitting work.
The 2.5kg head with a narrow, sharp cutting edge is capable of splitting even large or hard firewood thanks to the proven head design and the back of the splitting head can be used to drive in wood and plastic splitting wedges.
The forged axe head is mirror polished, which not only reduces friction when splitting, but also significantly improves rust resistance. Comes with our top grade cowhide leather blade sheath.
Caution: The splitting tool is not suitable for driving steel wedges. This can lead to deformation and material damage to the axe head.

They are sanded smooth and treated with boiled linseed oil for a natural feel and optimal protection. A vegetable-tanned leather sheath is included.
