Our journeyman's axe is a versatile packing axe with a classic American head shape, a sharp edge, and an ergonomic 50 cm hickory handle. It is easy to transport and can be used with one or two hands.
This makes it ideal for outdoor activities such as trekking and camping – perfect for chopping firewood, pruning, building shelters outdoors or for light splitting and cutting work in the forest.
The axe head is finely polished, which not only reduces friction during cutting but also significantly improves rust resistance.
The axe comes with a high-quality leather blade guard.

The result: a mirror-smooth surface that noticeably reduces cutting friction and effectively prevents corrosion. The handles are made of robust American hickory. They are sanded smooth and treated with boiled linseed oil for a natural feel and optimal protection. A vegetable-tanned leather sheath is included.
