The Forester Axe is a powerful and versatile felling axe with a classic American head shape and sharp cutting edge for use in the forest, on the farm or around the house.
With its medium-heavy 1600g head and ergonomic 80cm hickory handle, it offers a good balance of power and controllability - strong enough for felling medium-sized to large trees, but still comfortable to handle.
Ideal for anyone looking for a fully-fledged felling axe, but who does not want a model that is too large or heavy.
The forged axe head is mirror polished, which not only reduces friction when cutting, but also significantly improves rust resistance. Comes with our top grade cowhide leather blade sheath.

The axe heads are drop-forged, meticulously finished by hand, and polished to a high gloss. The result: a mirror-smooth surface that noticeably reduces cutting friction and effectively prevents corrosion. The handles are made of robust American hickory. They are sanded smooth and treated with boiled linseed oil for a natural feel and optimal protection. A vegetable-tanned leather sheath is included.
